    > CLA

One of the main reason the CLA is needed is due to the agreement with the Free-Qt Foundation, that says that if Qt is ever closed sourced, or stops being maintained the last released versions becomes available under a BSD license. It wouldn't be possible to do that re-licensing without the CLA.

Licenses management avoids that Freedom could be removed. Anyone can read for example https://opensource.stackexchange.com/a/757

What it's unethical is to be ejected from Phoronix (https://www.phoronix.com/forums/foru...370#post947370) and come back again with a different name, 144Hz / GhostOfFunkS / Funkstar / Griffin / Honton.

Actually on topic... ngraham Why in the world is it long press rather than right click like every other context menu on the planet? That's a mobile paradigm not a desktop one, and one that very much does not fit on the desktop.

Actually browser apps have done "show history menu for the back button press-and-hold" forever, so that's what we decided to emulate. But we're working on making the menu appear on right-click too. The challenge is that the buttons are on a toolbar, and the toolbar itself has a context menu, so we would need to override the default toolbar's context menu only for when that item is right-clicked. It's not impossible, but takes some work because in general, toolbar items don't have their own context menus, so there isn't out-of-the-box support for this.
