Something not mentioned here, there are tons of stability improvements made to wayland between 68 and 69. 69 is absolutely usable in wayland, at least in sway.

Wait, doesn't this version remove FTP server browsing? What's the point of them putting up the binaries on an FTP server? You could only get them with an older version?

(ftp.mozilla.org is actually an HTTP server)

Alright, let's get this over with...

            *clears throat*

"Also not mentioned in the article: to celebrate this version of Firefox, Mozilla has partnered with various adult websites to help you get going in the morning"

"Firefox 69: now your adult sites load almost as fast as you do"

"Firefox 69: who says it has to be consentual?"

"There's a joke in there somewhere about a moderately enjoyable experience until you've discovered you've been royally screwed..."

"Firefox 69: your one-stop shop for all your morning glory needs"

This has been your obligatory version 69 post. Have a good day.

Second that. Wayland and Webrender improvements should be quite noticeable.

As treba said, Firefox 69 (Beta) is the point where I started using it exclusively on Wayland. For anyone wishing to try it out, it's gonna work much better starting this week when 69 is released.

Is there Wayland-enabled deb packages or flatpaks of stable Firefox releases, or at least betas?
