    So in her blog post she says that Mali is a tiled gpu. Concerning the news of weston now supporting tiled gpus better (https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?pa...partial_update), does gnome/mutter already support that, too? EGL_KHR_partial_update?

      Nice, need to get back to my old Firefly RK3328 (... realistically will happen when I manage to put my kids in hibernation mode).

      Somewhat offtopic, how far along is Vulkan support in Window Managers, I would love to get rid of X11 and OpenGL one day (both belong in a compatibility layer)

          Atheros is only good for 802.11N isn't it? Last I knew AC driver support was no where near as decent. I think there's two vendors with drivers for some of their AC chipsets in the kernel, MediaTek was one?
