                  I wonder if this has anything to do with their upcoming mobile browser reboot. I kinda hope it does, because as much as I love Firefox, it's damn slow on mobile.

                    While Servo will never be the release branch of Firefox quite a lot of components which began their existence in servo were copied into release Firefox and have gone mainline from there. See Quantum CSS, Quantum Compositor and now Quantum Render aka Webrender. You can expect this to take from some month up to a year, but they're seemingly trying, and they suceeded with a lot of past efforts.
