KDE Plasma 5.16 Beta Released With Many Features

If you look at the full changelog, there's a ton of wayland improvements coming through.

Which is nice and I'm testing it already. I use Wayland only since a long time. Just wish kwin and Plasma would get after so many releases the necessary attention, is not like the important bugs are not reported. As a user I can make comments like this to request bug fixes, I'm not taking about nice to have features that we see every week ;-)

They actually do have something like that now, called kdesrc_build

It's definitely in early stages but already works quite well in my experience.

But that's not exactly the way I pictured it, as I mentioned in my previous post. Thanks, anyway!

You can configure the Xfce desktop freely.

And you can't do that with KDE? Then why does KDE have so many settings???

KDE does not even have a freely configurable Whisker menu.

Tiled Menu is freely configurable and if you want something that looks like Whisker (albeit with less settings), then there's Excalibur.

KDE is never ready.

That I actually agree with.

Tiled Menu looks like the win10 menu, bad.

By default, yes. But you can configure it freely to not look like the Win 10 Start Menu.
