    This sounds promising. I've found Xfce's existing behaviour to be quite erratic to the point where I've considered switching away after using it for years. I've tried to force AMDGPU to consider the displays always enabled but this doesn't work properly when you manually override the EDID.

      I'm *itching* to build a Funtoo or an Exherbo system with Xfce just because.

      Can't explain why, other than because it might be a fun experience and be akin to reliving the good old days when time was free and life held fewer worries and responsibilities...
