      Some less well-known, often independent artists, have a store page on bandcamp.com. There the music is also offered as FLAC and you can donate directly to the artists by paying more than the demanded minimum for something.
      Qobuz.com has a much wider range of artists and genres I think, and also seems to care about the audio quality - usually offering different quality levels for download.
      Apart from that I don't know any platforms apart from the big ones...
