Anyone that has a large font library knows the pain of rendering a font map and also the other hangs font-loading creates.

These kinds of improvements are more than welcome, when a tool can perform its basic functions swiftly that is better than a new feature.

Nice. Font loading is what takes 90% of the time on Windows. Fortunately it only happens periodically.
