    3D GUI's have been promised since the 1980s, nobody seems to want them. 3D entertainment has also really failed. So don't see how this going to be a big game changer for their customers. The example speedometer shown is really nice, but it's more 2D. I could get into using it for things like that with a tiny bit of depth.

      Remember when Canonical and Firefox were #1 and decided that they would do all this new stuff no one wanted or asked for.

        Design Studio is proprietary and Windows and Mac only.

          The 3D studio stuff was aimed at the automotive industry AFAIK, where it's used for ICE systems by Ford, Tesla, etc. That, and industrial automation seem to be a focus for Qt's commerical arm at the moment.
