    This is actually looks much better than Inte's app for Windows!

    By the way, what is current status of network over Thunderbolt 3 in Linux?

      Thunderbolt Networking: The kernel bits landed in 4.15. The necessary userspace changes were merged (PR#97) into NetworkManager last week and are in 1.11.2-dev. Not sure when the next stable release is happening. Until then it is actually quite easy to get it running yourself. Just load the "thunderbolt-net" kernel module, connect the hosts and configure the new ethernet device (thunderbolt0) to use Link-Local configuration (instead of DHCP). Should be all that is needed.
