Good news ! We have to wait till june to see that in action.
Perfect if KDE devs could also fix this bug (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=385880) that makes global menu with KDE unusable under Wayland.

Yeah KDE cares about things that work and doesn't following fashion around handicapping their applications. Besides you have most of your points wrong. KDE is notorious for supporting everything. It is Gnomes that take away choice for the latest fad

It's GNOME devs constantly coming up with new ways of breaking compatibility with existing software.

That's so wrong it couldn't be any wronger :P

KDE supports CSD and SSD, just like any DE should. GNOME requires the whole world to implement CSD, otherwise there're no window decorations for you. Try to run any SDL app, or, say, mpv, natively under GNOME on Wayland - there's no window decorations, just because of GNOME's stubbornness. Those libs/apps don't use any toolkit (because why would they?), so they would have to implement window decorations all by themselves, with no way to be consistent with the rest of the system - and they have sanely chosen not to do it at all.
