Firefox 59 Is Dropping GTK2 Support

Things I miss in Firefox:

• WebSockets and Server-Sent Events (SSE) debugging in developer tools.
• Support for the "system-ui" CSS font.
• Support for the <dialog> element.
• Wayland support.
• Client-side decorations (CSD) / GTK HeaderBar is still a bit buggy.
• Input type datetime behavior seems be a bit inconsistent/unpredictable when pressing tab or right arrow. Entering years with 5 numbers, etc.

I really look forward to the Rust-powered WebRender backend.

I dumped Chrome a month ago after all the weird freezes and Apps being part of the mass flesh ram theif that is chrome.

Im sure there were other reasons I cant recall.

Firefox has come a long way.

If I was in charge I would also prefer that my users use a reasonably current version of the browser. Especially after the new rendering engine.

What is going to happen to people using RHEL/CentOS 6.x on desktop?

they'll stick with Firefox52 till i guess firefox60 is released , Redhat afaik will be making Python3 default eventually, whether that'll be in RHEL8 or a RHEL7 i do not know, ( infact thats not that clear ) https://lists.fedoraproject.org/arch...63NCF2Y6MDWFJ/

Interestingly, from a POV of RHEL/CentOS 6 user nothing happened yet

But titanium medal for sure goes to me as i like smiles while some people don't
