Good to see they quickly left behind the Corral fiasco.
FreeNAS and pfSense are two very important projects for the FreeBSD community and we need FreeBSD to thrive for the good of the OSS community.

FreeNAS lost me back at the Corral fiasco. I really liked Corral and then there was no upgrade path to FreeNAS 11. If you run most applications in Docker containers, FreeNAS may not be the best choice. I switched to CentOS 7, imported my ZFS volumes with OpenZFS, and run the Docker Engine natively now. The performance difference between running Docker in a VM on FreeNAS and running Docker on CentOS is quite large.
