    Wonder if there is any interest from Linux and FreeBSD in HAMMER and HAMMER2...

      On FreeBSD, at least on the users side, there are a lot of interest on HAMMER, however it would need a huge amount of work. HAMMER 2 is yet unfinished, and maybe would take ages to finish it, both are made by just one guy.

      HAMMER would be the "perfect" filesystem to substitute UFS in some scenarios like desktop/laptop.

        Read long time ago that HAMMER2 (if/when finished) woud be a great fs.
