      Hopefully both. Having SSH support within Powershell would be a help in administering Unix/Linux boxes from Windows for those stuck using Winboxen at work.

        Compile with cygwin, mingw and GNU Make??? WTF? Why not use visualstudio and all other crap compiler infrastructure from microsoft??

              Because this is literally a port of OpenSSH to Windows. OpenSSH uses GCC and GNU Make...

              ElectricPrism Windows Powershell doesn't suck that bad, actually. It's nowhere near as good or powerful as any *nix shell, but still.

                I would have liked to hear SSH/SFTP + Zeroconf integration into Windows Explorer ? SAMBA is just too much of a pain to use, so I usually just use USB drives to transfer files to friends sitting next to me.

                  Wow... Phoronix forum and nobody started flaming about MS ditching OpenSSL in favor of Microsoft Crypto API? (I won't be shedding a tear for OpenSSL by the way. No season passes by without a critical security hole being uncovered.)

                  Yes, it is both server an​d client. The server will run as a Windows Service. I just hope for Credential Store integration.
