    I'm really excited about this release. Would be better if KDE was the default desktop, but MATE is ok.

        I presume that, at least at first, MATE will provide the option of using either Wayland or X11.

        For the further away future, FreeBSD does have a port of Wayland which works fine with ATi and Intel graphics (the nVIDIA binary driver doesn't yet support it).

          I've always though it would be good for both GhostBSD and PC-BSD to work on a single, unified version, although it doesn't seem to be clear how that would turn out.
