    The BFS file-system code now enjoys optimized search for the next free block that in turn makes for "greatly speed up" the creation and resizing of files on fragmented partitions.

    That's pretty cool...

    I'll have to try it again on the KGPE-D16 it didn't boot last time I tried.

          I really want this to get good. As an Amiga user around the time of BeOS it was about the only thing that turned my head.

            Well to a large extent it has , its just plagued by the terrible package format/filesystem overlay nonsense. They spend a crap ton of effort on that for a lot of people like me to hate it. Then ban me because they'd rather remain in denial rather than fix it and move on.

                    Whatever bro. Your last sentence is especially poignant when directed at certain Haiku developers that changed how BeOS worked being a power user OS to being a dumbed down Gnomeish mess.
