All of a sudden there is GPU acceleration? That's amazing.
Is this GPU acceleration method crash-safe?

Guess I'll switch to Genode some day so I finally could get rid of having to restart my system on a hang.

So if my understanding of genode is correct; these drivers are userspace and therefore kernel agnostic?

Sure, if another OS implemented Genode's userspace driver API.

Genode supports a range of kernels already.

Furthermore, programs do not need to be recompiled for a different microkernel; the ABI is the same regardless of the kernel used.
