I can see system libraries, regardless of the library, acting just as wonky on a machine that goes years between reboots since a complete re-initialization of the system never happens.

      Yes but he is claiming 20-30 segfaults in systemd per day due to high network traffic, something systemd isn't even involved in to begin with. So my guess is that he sees some network daemon crashing and since systemd handles daemons he blames systemd but there is just far to little information available.
