      I still find it ironic that the largest OS with a permissive license has the least permissive code of conduct, as in, most limiting.

                    Unless you are using FreeBSD and acting as an asshole, you should not even care. I went through your posting history and found only 2 FreeBSD-related posts. BOTH whining about CoC, nothing constructive. Why?

                    Thus question arises: Are you an asshole and FreeBSD user? I doubt either case. So what's the point of these snide remarks? Considering that Linux is getting CoC as well, along with some other open source projects (PostgreSQL for example)..

                    About FreeBSD 12. FreeBSD is now about where Linux was - before it started going downhill with it's systemd "unification effort" and ever-increasing "beyond-POSIX" philosophy. If it would get it's 802.11AC support properly squared away too, I'd be completely happy with it..
