      DragonFly is the only OS that is built from the ground up with a very deep consideration for scalability of thread/core/socket and asymmetric NUMA. Matthew Dillon had a clear vision, and we can see the results now.

      Remember also when looking at the benchmarks, that DragonFly is using the HAMMER2 filesystem, which is a high-availability COW (on steroids) filesystem, while the linux benches use ext4 and xfs. This is not a criticism on the benches, but an observation. I believe the benches use the recommended FS from the distro, which is good methodology. But HAMMER2
