    Yeah I do see the point in them trying and trying here and there.

    However, my point is that most people who go to Phoronix are:

    Linux users who are comfortable with their Linux setup,
    People with Linux interest, waiting for that prime time to switch,
    Linux newbies trying to find out the perfect way to cut Windows out of their daily meal of computing.
    etc, etc...


    I don't think they would get much business for product here.

    Also, Phoronix is now apart of that other thing, so as of next month things will be different. (hopefully)

    I understand the more advertisement they put on means they're squirming, but seriously. They're just wasting money. (PARTY!!)

    Heh... Linux Today has MS advertising their crap on there all the time... As long as the ads are on the up and up, we all know they're crap and they help pay for Phoronix. Honestly, if they're willing to waste their money that way, let 'em.

    Anyone seen them and think they are a bit redundant?

    Of all the places to put that advertisement, they choose a Linux & Solaris article website/forum.
