      Guessing it's a reference to adjustable height sit/stand desks with electric lift.

      I'm not buying one until they play the launch themes from "Thunderbirds" while going up and down.

            Michael, your table-work is inspirational. So much so that I am making my own.

            Some questions:

            1. Butcher block: What are the qualities that steered you to this, versus so many other possible surfaces?
            2. Birch: There are a dozen wood species for making a surface, so why birch? If you had 2x money, what would you choose?
            3. Have you observed any warping or bending or otherwise untoward tendencies with your butcher block surfaces?
