How do I change my name and add a profile picture?

I've just been through my settings, and could not find anywhere to change my name or profile picture. Is it not possible to do either of these things on this forum?

AFAIK your username (which you typically can't change) is also the name that gets displayed. I thought this was common but maybe not.

There is an "add another screen name" link in the Contact Information section but it seems to be for adding usernames on other systems.

Haven't seen any way to add a picture, although there is a "display avatars" option for conversations. Checking the box doesn't seem to do anything though since AFAIK nobody else has pictures up (assuming picture = avatar in this case). The default picture clearly has too much hair in my case.
