Most Linux distributions are based off Debian, Slackware or RedHat or some branch of any of these. I think more of the articles on the site should be focused around these "root" distributions and a few popular branches. Very often tests are based off Ubuntu, and while Ubuntu (for some reason) has a large user base it feel a bit unfair to that the other distros and especially the root or mother distros if you like are not more prominent....
