It is. "Open source" in the title refers to the phoronix test suite.

The Phoronix Test Suite itself is all open-source while it supports the execution of both open and closed-source tests. A partial listing of available tests can be found @ http://openbenchmarking.org/tests/pts

This sounds more useful than testing single apps when comparing distros.

CentOS 7 on the screenshots looks very pretty.

And how exactly would you compare the distros then?

Tried to start a stress run and get the following error(s):

[2048] Non-static method pts_test_run_manager::set_batch_mode() should not be called statically in stress_run:44
PHP Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /usr/share/phoronix-test-suite/pts-core/objects/client/pts_test_run_manager.php on line 1004

Any ideas what's wrong? Using 6.2 pts

That bug has been fixed a while ago. For stress-run would recommend trying PTS Git anyways due to the new/improved functionality.

That's the Gnome 3 Classic Shell. See here: https://access.redhat.com/documentat...e-classic.html

It's just like GNOME 2, but a lot less functional, and with an annoyingly laggy UI. On all my RHEL servers, I replace it immediately with MATE and Openbox.
