    I prefer non-sticky headers. Anyway, I like the simplicity of the new style. Nicely light-weight.

    Some minor criticism:
    * search bar button is not properly styled? (FF38)
    * decrease line-height on side-bar links, slightly increase vertical spacing (to make line wrapped links easier to separate)
    * remove the 1p solid black border on the footer
    * make footer horizontal lines 1px (to unify all border styles)
    * I would put the copyright notice under the footer links (aka double footer)
    * only make footer headers bold, the rest non-bold
    * missing </ul> tag in footer
    * extraneous </strong> tag in footer
    * missing </html> tag :P
    * why not put a Phoronix Premium sign up icon/button next to RSS feed in header?

      After years of browsing phoronix, somehow my eyes have gotten used to quickly parsing the article titles, so I'll have to get used to this first.. it seems like the headlines are spaced a lot more than they used to be.

        +1 for UTC!
        And google search? :/
        For the rest: it looks really nice!

          Good job making a complete ass of yourself. If you actually finished reading the sentence, you'd realize it's actually saying the complete opposite of the conclusion you jumped to. But go ahead, perpetuate the unnecessary US hate.

          Whoops, tag issues fixed, thanks. Will look at other items shortly.

            Looks great on the Android and desktop versions of Firefox. Thanks a lot Micheal!

              The only issue I see is the search button should be hidden at 400px width or a bit more

              @media all and (max-width: 400px){
              .cse-search-box input[type=submit]{
              display: none;
              }
              }

              Also maybe a missing font is putting the search button below the input text on desktop resolution

              Overall a much better design, especially for mobile

                Works also great in a Desktop with low resolution on purpose

                  Great design!
                  Definitely an improvement!

                  However the social media sharing links should be on the bottom.
                  I don't know if I want to share the article before I have read it.

                  Also, make use of the <header>, <footer> and <nav> elements. Maybe the <time> element too.

                    I don't know why, but it was easier to read before (on desktop)
