I just noticed that the http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=premium page just shows the news index - not a "Reasons you should be awesome and become a phoronix premium subscriber" page

I have not yet seen the "Upcoming articles" notification (I may have simply miss it) that premium members used to get. Is this still a thing?

Yes it's still there when something is put in the queue in advance. Should be at top of page when there's something to show, as of late though haven't built up enough articles to put them in queue in advance but have been running them as I go while being busy with everything else.
