Suddenly posts that I make don't seem to be going into the thread. I don't see any error messages. From a visual perspective it looks like it's just silently dropping posts.

edit: but this new thread posted so now I'm not sure what is happening.

Just cleared some of your posts from the moderation queue... With the new vBulletin Forums, even veteran Phoronix members can get posts stuck in the moderation queue.... Just another reason I'm not liking vB5.

Cool, thanks. I haven't used it in years, so no idea of the state it's in, but maybe check out Joomla on a test system. It worked great for me when I needed it, but I don't know how well it will scale for a forum database this size.
