Nope, still seems to be getting worse. Reading the forums these days is a matter of guessing where there is likely to have been activity and clicking there.

This! Should be fixed already, has been like this for a long time now.

Is it me, or is there really no equivalent to the old "read unread" and "mark all posts read" functions on the new board? What were they thinking?

There is a "mark channels read" entry on the menu bar near the top of the page, and a "mark channel read" drop-down just to the right of "filter" at the top right of a thread.

Not sure exactly what a "channel" corresponds to in vB-speak though.

They both do nothing. At least for me.

Same here. One of them does nothing at all, the other seems to think for a while and then do nothing.
