It may sound a bit farfetched but have you thought about water cooling ALL the computers and redistributing the heat in the whole house in winter? I'm looking at it for my house, as I have a hot water radiant-floor system installed, but it could easily be done for air ducting too. Or in summer you could heat a pool. Just dont let all that eat warm the place without use in summer. Solar panels could be useful too, all those computers must use a hell lot of electricity.
Too much cost for too little savings.

It always interesting to look on performance data gathered by phoronix and I expect more coming forward

Btw, the cables is really messy, you need cable duct to tidy it up.

I think my issue is thin air and low humidity of under 20% in the winter. Cooling efficiency is significantly worse than at sea-level and 50% humidity. So PCs tend to run almost the same temperature in the winter here.

Then again, Michael now has built in heater under his house, so it should be nice and cosy in the winter :-)

I'm sure he will keep us up-to-date with how well it works out for him :-) Isn't spring coming where he is about now?

There ought to be a browser plugin for that.

I've thought of it numerous times. But there'd need to be a standard and all that. And then authors would have to care enough to use it.
I'd love one for timezones as well. Localised time in web articles/game launchers would be heavenly.

Yes, it's almost spring. Humidity level in the room is currently about 37%.

Nice lair. I'm a bit worried about having all those liquids close to the hardware. It could lead to some inimitable benchmarks, I guess.
