    I HIGHLY support the web server testing benchmarks. I get the feeling that Apache has been outclassed by a few others by now but no one really realizes it because server benchmarks are fairly rare. I've seen some, but it would be great to see a truly scientific version.

    I second that; although maybe do it with Fedora instead of Ubuntu, as Fedora is usually more bleeding edge.
