Congratulations Michael! Twenty years? That's amazing.

You've single handedly created the premiere Linux resource on the web, as well as the most comprehensive Linux benchmarking suite, and one of those would be a hell of an accomplishment. But two? - that's almost superhuman!

As I've said before though, I hope you're taking some days off and making sure you get enough personal time and fun as well. I expect Phoronix to be here for another twenty years, so we need you healthy and happy for a very long time to come

Happy anniversary - Phoronix is still relevant!

It was several years before when I asked for life subscription with European bank transfer or
    payment method (like PaySafe).
But without this, I am just out. But I understand that there are not many who would need
just that ... thus not relevant for Phoronix budget.
It was in the last 12 months when Firefox under GNU/Linux went totally crazy due to adds
(shortly before advertisments ruined layout and changing text while reading - this annoyance
could be tolerated, but not crashing browsers).
After trying a lot, I had to use a blocker - but there was no real choice (after so many years with it).

I had been used GNU/Linux in Astrophysical Institutes introduced there even before Linux 1.0
    was released - nice ride.
Thereafter I was Unix specialist for 10 further years in IT business (more on the blue side with
AIX / IBM pSeries) ... and while I am still collecting CS data and creating talks ... Phoronix keeps
present and is a nice read, especially benchmarks of HW like last 3 (to 4) GPU Cards of
relevance performing under current Linux & Mesa ... or Filesystem benchmarks.
Really funny to get this picture for Linux users.

Others are more debatable ... Steam ... i.e. the dark side.
The only experience that Linux is slower than Windows was with ... that company's utilities.
I can not imagine that anyone prefering GNU/Linux would use Steam (it would be out
    just due to its client).
And 2% Linux device - ok - but a console or smartphone using Linux (i.e. the mere kernel)
is not desktop Linux at all.

So I hope the best for the years to come for a great Phoronix experience in the full range,
from industrial use to free software (the GNU spirit [coming form sciences!]):
so everyone can get what is desired!
And all be present on Phoronix creating interesting forum discussions ...
    popcorn sessions included ...

So many good memories over the years. Remember when Michael harped about Steam for Linux being real and how he'd seen it and it was right around the corner for years, and by the end everyone was all "Michael, STFU, please. It's not going to happen, stop giving us hope" and then it did happen?

Congrats and keep up the good work!
I've been many times a subscriber, not since a year but I will re-enlist soon

I've been reading your website since the beginning.

One question: do you plan on renewing the look/graphics of the site? It's starting to be a little old, and maybe with a more modern layout you can increase the engagement and impressions

My feedback on your content. I like mostly everything you write, but i really LOVE when you talk about room renovations, your datacenter and the furtinure!
