1. The ignore list continues not to work for the users who have signed up in the past few years. Only old-timers enjoy it.

Would be great to get this issue fixed - I remember people reported it to you many years ago.

2. I'm still confused, after so many years, why forums are under https://www.phoronix.com/forums/forum - could the first or the second part of the path be dropped? forums/forum looks excessive.

Hmmm the ignore list is still puzzling as it's simply stock vBulletin..

The 2nd issue is stock vbulletin behavior.

Maybe you could open a case with vBulletin. I remember they helped you with some issues in the past. Considering you're running stock it should be something trivial.
