  • How to Stop Phoronix Changing Number of Runs Requested?

I want to run openbenchmarking.org tests 10 times as opposed to the default 3. I changed this in the test profile and also in the openbenchmarking.org folder. However, when I ran the test, I see it still runs 3 times and not 10. It seems that my new test profile is being overwritten when connected to the inetrnet.
How to I prevent this from happening?
    Thanks,
    John

Well the easiest way can be achieved without having to modify the test profiles... just set FORCE_TIMES_TO_RUN=10 as an environment variable. FORCE_TIMES_TO_RUN will override whatever is defined by the test profiles.

Super, thanks Michael, just what I was after. Is this set only on the Phoromatic server or on each client machine as well?

At the moment you need to set it on the PTS clients. In the near future I have some work pending that would allow you to enter environment variables for clients via the Phoromatic Server web interface, but hasn't landed quite yet.
