  • PTS Files on /usr or /home directories?

    I'm confused about what folders Phoromatic server is reading from when running. When I run phoronix-test-suite diagnostics, it says most of my folders are located in /home/me/.phoronix-test-suite/. However, I see other folders are referenced in /usr folder. Here are some examples:

    pts_openbenchmarking_scratch_path = /home/me/.phoronix-test-suite/openbenchmarking.org
    pts_openbenchmarking_path = /usr/share/phoronix-test-suite/pts-core/openbenchmarking.org
    pts_share_path = /usr/share/phoronix-test-suite

    In the above examples, which folder is my Phoromatic server reading from?
    Thanks,
    John

    The short answer is if running as root, the Phoromatic stuff will be in /var/lib/phoronix-test-suite/ but if running as a user it's all within ~/.phoronix-test-suite/ Does that help?
