  • in what order does "install.sh interim.sh post.sh pre.sh" run and arguements

When running a test profile - what order does a test profile shell scripts run for install.sh, interim.sh, post.sh and pre.sh? What is the top layer script that feeds it arguments? For example the fio-1.8.2 profile the install.sh script takes $1, $2, $3, $4, $5 and $6 arguments and I'm wondering where does that get injected

install.sh is only run when installing the test.

The various arguments passed in case of like fio is generated via the test-definition.xml. Run phoronix-test-suite debug-run fio for bit more verbose output.

pre.sh is run before test for first time.

interim.sh is run between test runs.

post.sh is run after tests are run.

See like pgbench test profile for another example of pre/post
