  • openbenchmarking upload & reposiories problem

    Hi,

First of all thanks for this site - love it. I've basically build my computer according to info found here.
Now I'm trying to bench it using phoronix-test-suite (5.8.0-1.fc23). I have two problems I could not address using manual nor bing.

    1) Test results are uploaded anonymously to openbenchamrking.com - On my account page, there no tests displayed. I did openbenchmarking-login. When I run openbenchmarking-repositories I see two entries - One default I guess (with results) and one with my user name, but empty. How can I tell PTS which repository to use?

    2) How does openbenchmarking.com finds match for comparison? By name? For example my tests: https://openbenchmarking.org/result/...BE-1606141BE31 doesn't offer any match for comparison. Unlike for example this one: https://openbenchmarking.org/result/...HA-PTSPERLBE17.

    Thanks for any help.
    Filip

p.s. I was kidding about using bing.

Did you run phoronix-test-suite openbenchmarking-setup? Any results uploaded after that point should be associated with your account.

It all depends upon the combination of tests you run and if anyone else has ran that same set of tests (or a super-set of it) in the same result file previously. From the file you mention, I see it included dcraw and that tends to not be a very popular test profile so very little likelihood someone ran dcraw and also x264/encode-flac/openssl.

openbenchmarking-setup did the trick (initialy it was openbenchmarking-login but that did not work)

As for comparing on openbnechmarking.com I've tried just a single test rather then a suite comparison and that works better

      Thanks Michael
