  • Benchmarking a cluster of networked machines?

I'm trying to use Phoromatic and pts/hpcc to benchmark a cluster of networked machines. It seems easy to run the same (single machine) test separately on each node, and get the result for each node. But how do I get it to benchmark the cluster as a whole, with a single results file?

    Thanks

At this time you would need to manually setup the hostfile on one of the systems and configure it manually. Though if there's commercial interest involved I could look at making it more streamlined right now, but yes right now it's just run on a per-node basis just like all of the other tests. Basically, Phoromatic right now doesn't do any special configuration setup for MPI clustered machines, etc, but would be all work that could be done commercially.
