Hi,

I've used PTS since 1.6 and I've noticed recently (1.8-2.0) that often I have to wait up to a minute for PTS to launch, and I'm not even using the GUI. Is it timing out on some kind of db access? Is it possible I have corrupted such a hypothetical db by running PTS with a bios default date?

Is this a common problem with a simple solution? I'm running PTS 1.8, 2.0, on Ubuntu 9.04 32 and 64-bion in addition and ptslive.

Hmm, what command(s) are you running? Is it during installation? Running? system-info? Diagnostics? Does the slowness affect all of the commands?

2.0 may take 2~3 seconds longer at startup due to new tasks that its performing, but nowhere near a minute. What sort of hardware are you running it on?
