  • A PTS to modify system settings for benchmark?

I am new to this world and was trying to do research on tools to figure out how to maximize sustained throughput writes to an SSD. I found interbench, which claims that it is:
designed to measure the effect of changes in Linux kernel design or system configuration changes such as cpu, I/O scheduler and filesystem changes and options.
This sounds pretty much like what I want, but it hasn't been updated in over 3 years, so I am not sure how well it works on more up-to-date systems.

I've installed and poked around on the Test Suite a bit and ran some benchmarks, but didn't see something like interbench was claiming to do. There are so many knobs in the suite though, I am wondering if there is already an option there that does what I am hoping to do that I might have missed?

    TIA
Working...
