  • octanebench CUDA error 999 on device 0: unknown error => failed to link file

Hi. When running the phoronix-test-suite v9.0.0m1 under Ubuntu 18.04 LTS using RTX 20180ti (Nvidia binary driver 418.67 and CUDA 10.1 installed), octanebench always generate the error message "CUDA error 999 on device 0: unknown error => failed to link file". I can run CUDA examples without any issue. But I have no clue why octanebench fails to run.

Can someone please help? Thank you!

Unfortunately you'd need to ask upstream Octanebench. No idea myself as haven't hit that problem and Octanebench is closed source so not really helpful for debugging.
