Problem with install-all in PTS 1.4

Hi,

I just downloaded and tried to install all the benchmarks from PTS 1.4. Unfortunately, as another thread in the forum indicated - the DOOM3 install hangs because there is nothing at the URL it points to.

I tried to get around this two ways:
1. Point DOOM3 to a different URL, by modifying the XML file
2. Manually download the file and put it in the download cache (this was the method one user recommended)

Unfortunately neither worked...

Is there a way to solve this problem? Ideally, I'd like to install all the benchmarks, without manually typing in each one. However, it looks like the 'install-all' option won't work because Doom3 (and possibly other ID benchmarks) will hang.

Does anyone have any suggestions or work-arounds?

Is there some way to do 'install-all' but skip a few of the benchmarks?

Is there a way to fool PTS into thinking that DOOM3 is installed?

Could I manually install DOOM3 myself? If so, which directory should I install it in?

the DOOM3 install hands when i use this to intall:

#:sudo phoronix-test-suit install-all

the DOOM3 install hands:

i use the command:

#horonix-test-suit install-all

and the DOOM3 install hangs:

PS:Is there a guide for phoronix-test-suit ？ i am a new user，i want to learn it.

yeah, me too (first of all, please no screenshots, copy and paste the text).
I downloaded the file.
I put it into ~/.phoronix-test-suite/download-cache/ AND /tmp/phoronix-test-suite
and I still get:
./phoronix-test-suite install doom3

where it hangs, just abusing the CPU with 100% load.

What version of the Phoronix Test Suite are you using? Try the latest 1.6.0 development release or Git. Then try running: phoronix-test-suite install all

How are results of different versions compatible with each other? I used stable because there are results I wanted to compare against with that version

The results remain compatible unless there is a new version of the test that was uploaded during that time. Say going from Doom 3 1.x to Doom 3 1.y for the test profile.

ok, I will try 1.6 - I hope it doesn't screw up X like 1.4.2 did when I run system-info. Have X blank intself every odd second isn't really pleasant.
