Also, a question: Why am I still getting this error in dmesg when mounting my XFS drive?

With previous versions on Ubuntu 17.10 I had problems logging back in from the lock screen (graphic corruption and lockup which I could get around by switching to a different tty then back) and the Ubuntu Dock crashed. Also some seemingly random lockups where I had to do full restart. Anyone else ran into this? Anyone know if this release fixes any of that?

Running 4.14.6 right now and that's been running fine.

Running 4.14.6 right now and that's been running fine.

I do notice it on Intel hardware (intel haswell laptop) but not on my ubuntu 17.10 ryzen+vega - Been rock stable even on RC...
Graphic corruption at times do persist however.
Unsure if it's kernel or mesa but doesn't happen with RX460.

Okay. I installed rc4 just now so we will see how that goes. I'm running Ryzen+Fury on this machine.

Also, did they switch DC back on as default on the Fury? I'm getting HDMI/DP audio without the amdgpu.dc=1 kernel boot parameter now. Got that on rc3 as well but on earlier version I think I needed amdgpu.dc=1.
