Many thanks for the article. What I consider most positive is that there don't seem to be any large long-lasting regressions in the kernel and that Maestro Wysocki is on the right track with the scheduler improvements. The pqsql and Apache slowdowns may perhaps be the result of the ongoing scheduler work too; it might be interesting to benchmark it with 4.12 or something. One thing I am left wondering about is how would things be on an AMD CPU...

Same test on ARM 64Bits (Aarch64) should be greate (RPI3) because have make a good progress.
