He said NEW system shock demo. Many classics are getting remastered/ported over to newer Windows versions in Steam store.

In this wine version have contributions of Jan Schmidt (gstreamer dev), thanks to this bloodrayne 1 videos works correctly (fullscreen videos works) cutscene.exe dont needed rename (however with some mpg + mp2 have some troubles)

In other issues another games case wrack in before versions dont show character rendering but now works correctly

His point was there is progress. No it doesn't work other than load to a black screen, but it is more than he has got in the past.

Praise be... Someone that can read!!

There's bloody Linux demo of System Shock (2016 edition) - there will also be a native (coughs hard, Unity 5, blood comes up) port. So I don't really give a s*** if the game runs under Wine - it's just another test case.

Previously, under testing, the screen just went a lurid purple colour... I don't remember being able CONTINUE being able to PLAY the game (black screen with-standing). The draw-calls may be going out in the trash... But at least Wine isn't crashing in dxgi , etc. - like with many other DirectX 10 / 11 titles!!
