Basically OpenGL 4.3 is certainly enough, it still needs some time to fix the bugs with it anyway. I don't know if there is a game that needs the missing features from 4.4/4.5. Interesting will be what comes with OpenGL 4.6, the only way to jump to mesa 14

What can we expect from this release in term of gaming? I'm using the radeon driver with a 7970. Can I expect an improvement in the FPS of some games? Or is it more like that some games will finally be able to function plain and simple?

Good news: my notebook is still alive, plenty of power outages, but alive
Bad news: since its on 5730M I can't test all that new code
Good news: cash in the account is accumulating for Polaris
                Bad news: need to wait

                Happy sad story :|

Big thx for the hard work to all who made the code

you typed that they are doing too long releases and 4.3 is enough, but there was no possibility to do release with 4.3 before today, so you was asking for pony

What are you talking about OpenGL 4.3 was there before today but not for Intel.
But that wasn't the case with my posting it was that mesa should rather freeze in time then when a driver added some support, if it ain't done in time then there's always next time.
I would like that pony so i can put it on the grill
