This article offers up a plethora of 1920 x 1080 and 2560 x 1440 Linux gaming benchmarks while providing the very latest driver performance results on the AMD Radeon RX 590, RX Vega 56, and RX Vega 64 while on the NVIDIA side was the GeForce GTX 1060/1070/1080 and RTX 2060/2070 graphics cards.

    Good to see that Vega 56 is very competitive with GTX 1070. It fits how AMD positioned it.

      The older DiRT Showdown game meanwhile regressed on RadeonSI. Not only was the Radeon GPU performance quite poor, but there were major rendering issues for the game when being benchmarked while running fine with the NVIDIA graphics cards.
      I don't think this is a regression. I've always had this problem on Ultra preset.

          Nice to the the Vegas compete with the RTX cards at resolutions Steam reports more people using. If 580->590 is any indication, V->VII should be pretty nice performance increase. VII could stand for Vega II.

                Thanks for including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in your tests. Even though they were quite CPU bound, the benchmarks were revealing & useful.

                  It's done when I switch to a non-GNOME desktop for testing since otherwise CSGO is still sadly stuck with GNOME thinking the application is unresponsive unless I click it right away, otherwise it would affect results.

                    The newest amdvlk release had general performance optimizations which should benefit most Vulkan applications. Would be interesting to see how it stacks up against radV now.
