    Intel Gen 11, 10.5, 10, 9.5 9, 8.5, 8, 7.5, whatever. Anything happened since Gen 7.5 (Haswell)?

    Intel is boring. It does not innovate. If you got a Ivy Bridge or Haswell then you're good. Not much have happened.

    AMD is moving full steam ahead, their upcoming CPUs are with 12 cores and more.
