Every country has it's own spectrum. That is useless pic you link.

For example in USA it is fascist republicans vs menshevik trockist democrats.

In England it is imperialist conservatives vs bolshevik labor party.

The only thing "useless" about the image I provided is the fact it mentioned US-specific political parties, which are irrelevant to my point. But the general political spectrum otherwise applies worldwide. My point was that fascism is, by a global definition, a right-leaning ideology. Also, fascism applies or has applied to multiple countries (North Korea, WW2-era Germany and Italy, arguably India, etc). In other words, unlike the Democrat and Republican parties, it isn't related to the US.

BTW I just wanted to point out I meant no hostility toward you, just merely making a correction.

True communism is the left-wing extreme. But the left-wing isn't liberal, liberal is on the conservative-socialist scale moderate, because it is on another scale anarchism is the liberal extreme.

and they tend to be exactly the same with a slightly different colour hat - i.e. nasty egomaniacs who want to dictate to you on how you should think, what you should do and suppress free thought.

If you are to look deep into the specifics, you're right, liberalism is not synonymous with leftism. There are a few ways where liberals and leftists contradict each other. That being said, liberalism technically isn't specific to a direction on the political spectrum. But in a broader sense, consider the generic definitions and modern-day political parties (from any country) that associate with them:
Liberalism: Protecting people's rights and freedoms, and promoting some degree of community.
Leftism: Equal opportunity, equal treatment, equal distribution.
Obviously, both involve a lot more than that, but that's a very cut-down summary of them. In a broader and generalized sense, they both work hand-in-hand (once you get into specifics is when they start to contradict each other). For example, in order to truly protect everybody's right to freedom, nobody can be restricted from doing something (AKA, equal opportunity and treatment). A successful community requires everyone to contribute and be sufficient; with equal distribution, theoretically, everyone has their part in the community and isn't in poverty.
So that being said, in many (but as you pointed out, not all) political parties, leftism and liberalism are associated.

To clarify, I'm not saying whether this is how I feel or my level of agreement with it, but rather explaining the definitions. But, your point still remains valid, so, I edited the post you quoted.

This really turned political! What`s is currently going on with legal repercussions for offensive comments and forced language is beyond scary. The main problem is that while we are busy working, the crazies have taken over the political system.

Ehm, wasn't that thread meant to be about a new CPU arch?

I was rather expecting people to cry about something having the number "32" and not "64" in it, in conjunction with the term "obsolete" - but instead folks are posting strange things.

Nice to see some new arch, though the question is how capable this one is, what are best use cases and will we ever see the hardware as normal persons in stores for our households?
Stop TCPA, stupid software patents and corrupt politicians!

Like, what's wrong with RISC-V? I'm skeptical to this code bloat.

Thank you Adarion, for bringing us back on topic.

I'm guessing this probably predates it.

typical conservative persecution complex. next you'll post about how unmanaged code may be slightly denser as an excuse to hold us all back. im glad nvidia doesn't support you anymore but i'm sure you'll be in every thread until your "god" takes you posting crysis screenshots talking about what a great game it is
